Cookie Policy
Last updated: 10/07/26
This policy explains how Clinic Finder, operated by Clinic Finder, uses cookies and similar technologies. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. We also use similar technologies such as local storage. Together we refer to them as “cookies”. They help the site work, remember your choices, and understand how the site is used.
2. How we use cookies
We use cookies for the following purposes:
| Category | Why we use it | Consent needed? |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Core functions such as keeping you signed in after you enter your one-time email code, and security. | No — the site can’t work without them |
| Preferences | Remembering choices you make, such as dismissing our cookie banner (stored in your browser’s local storage). | No |
| Analytics | Understanding how visitors use the site so we can improve it, on an aggregated basis. | Yes |
3. Third-party cookies
Some features rely on third parties that may set their own cookies. In particular, our maps are provided by Mapbox, and clinic content and images are delivered via Google, Cloudinary and our host, Vercel. These providers process data under their own policies.
4. Managing your cookies
Where we use non-essential cookies, we ask for your consent first and you can change your mind at any time. You can also control or delete cookies through your browser settings — most browsers let you block or remove them. Note that blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the site working, such as staying signed in.
5. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the cookies we use change. The current version is always shown on this page, with the “last updated” date above.
