My appointment was changed 3 times, which should have been a warning! I turned up to what can only be described as a pokey little shop and definitely not a proper hair salon. I was greeted by a receptionist who was only concerned with getting money up front for toner and additional cost for hair length. The stylist (and use the term loosely) could not speak English and clearly was not qualified. I felt extremely uncomfortable at letting her do a full head of highlights. When I checked Google reviews my suspicions were confirmed. This is not a professional establishment and I lost money £45 via ‘Groupon’ The manager was on the end of the phone! trying to convince me that they were professional. I think anyone would be unwise to risk their hair being highlighted here. I have lost £45 but at least my hair is safe!

I absolutely do not recommend this place. The whole experience was ridiculous. First of all, the first time I went there, they gave me an appointment and then called me themselves to change the time. The new time didn’t work for me, so we agreed on another day instead. I went all the way there — and it’s on the other side of the city from where I live — only to arrive and find out that nobody had informed me the hairdresser wasn’t even there. To reschedule the appointment, I had to call several times before finally managing to book it again. When I finally arrived for the appointment, they told me I had to pay extra money on top of what I had already paid, and they made me pay before the service even started. In total, I spent around £120-130: about £40-45 through Groupon and another £80 directly at the salon. For that amount of money, my hair is completely ruined. It’s yellow instead of blonde, the color doesn’t even start from the roots, and after only two days it already looks like I’ve had the color for a few months. I have multiple uneven colors in my hair and the work was done terribly. This is not professionalism at all, expecially for the price !! Yes there is a bit discount for the Groupon but still 130!! and honestly they clearly do not know how to do their job. Paying that much money for a result like this is completely unacceptable. The woman who did she seems very nice and respectful but sorry this is the true !!!

I had my hair done by the lovely Zara on Friday, the customer service was amazing and the attention to detail. I’m so in love with my hair I can’t stop looking at it. She was able to fit me in when my appointment was canceled. She has so much dedication to her customers. She deserves a pay rise! Thank you so much Zara!

April 8th 11:30. I got inner highlights, then a full color and a haircut for £216. The dyeing was done carefully and beautifully. However shampooing was so sloppy it made me laugh.

I had a horrible experience at Attraction Hair & Beauty Academy & Salon. I arrived about 10 minutes early for my appointment, but had to wait almost an hour because there was another client and only one stylist. During preparation, the stylist appeared uncertain about the process and consulted with someone on the phone , which made me worry about her experience. Some sections of my hair did not stay on the rods properly, and there were hygiene concerns as perm papers were placed in her mouth before being applied to my hair. I was then told that the sides of my hair were too short and the perm might not come out properly. However, this was not mentioned anywhere in the Treatwell service description. When I questioned it, the stylist said it was my fault for not calling the salon directly and implied I should have arrived earlier, even though I arrived before my scheduled time. Due to the long wait, hygiene issues, lack of professionalism, and being told the result might not work, I decided to stop the service before any chemicals were applied. The overall experience was extremely disappointing, and I cannot recommend this salon. *****UPDATE: Regarding the salon's reply, I must point out several critical inaccuracies to prevent future customers from having the same experience: 1. Fabricated Consultation: The salon claims they explained limitations during a 'consultation.' This is false. No consultation happened before the service. They only mentioned the hair length issue after I had already waited an hour and after the stylist had started struggling to apply the rods. A professional should evaluate the hair before starting, not in the middle of a failed process. 2. Unacceptable Waiting Time & False Claims I arrived early for my 16:30 appointment. The salon’s claim of staying open until 19:30 to “accommodate” me is completely misleading. I actually left the salon around 19:05 after the service failed. Any time spent there late was solely due to the salon’s own delay keeping me waiting for nearly an hour before even starting. They are trying to frame their own poor time management as a favor to the client. 3. Hygiene Breach: My decision to stop was not just about the technical feasibility, but because I felt unsafe due to the serious hygiene issue of the stylist placing perm papers in their mouth before applying to my head. I have raised this with Treatwell for a refund.****
