Please do not use this practitioner. Dear Beauty Care Academy; I am very disappointed by your continuous dishonesty .I have continually asked to remove the filler from the lower part of the face as it’s causing discomfort which videos and pictures were provided to you demonstrating the effects ,however you ignored my request and later refused to see me , you have refused to provide body map of the filer placement and dosage which was requested by another practitioner. It is sad that you took the money and denied any assistance or accountability. I attended Beauty Care Academy & Aesthetics after a consultation where I clearly explained my concerns and what I wanted to achieve. I trusted the practitioner’s assessment, expertise, and reassurance that my goals could be achieved. I paid £400 in good faith, believing I was placing my face and wellbeing in the hands of someone who would prioritise my best interests. What followed has left me deeply disappointed. On the very same day as treatment, I noticed an area of concern and immediately sent a video showing that the filler appeared to be sitting heavily in one specific area. I was reassured that the area would be reviewed. As the days passed, my concerns only grew. Rather than feeling more confident, I felt increasingly distressed by both the appearance of my face and the physical sensations I was experiencing. I repeatedly raised concerns, reported discomfort, pulling sensations, swelling, tingling, and altered sensation in the treated area. Instead of feeling supported, I felt dismissed. Appointments that appeared easy to arrange when booking treatments suddenly became unavailable when the purpose was to discuss a problem. I was told there was no time due to studies, exams, and other commitments, despite my concerns being ongoing and despite me having paid for a professional service and aftercare. What I find most upsetting is not simply the outcome itself, but the complete contrast between the image presented publicly and the reality of my experience as a client. There are frequent posts about ethics, integrity, putting clients first, and protecting vulnerable people. However, when I became a client in distress, reporting concerns and seeking help, that was not my experience. While I was trying to obtain support regarding my treatment, social media activity continued uninterrupted. As a client, it left me with the impression that public image was receiving far more attention than resolving a genuine concern. I was also extremely uncomfortable to see client experiences and reviews being referenced publicly on social media. Regardless of intention, it left me feeling that professional boundaries and client confidentiality were not being treated with the level of care I would expect from someone entrusted with people’s appearance, wellbeing, and confidence. The most painful part of this entire experience is that I did not seek treatment out of vanity. Like many clients, I simply wanted to feel better about myself. Instead, I have spent £400 and have experienced anxiety, distress, loss of confidence, sleepless nights, and ongoing worry about a treatment that was supposed to improve my wellbeing. To make matters worse, I now find myself in a position where I may need to seek further professional assessment elsewhere, potentially at additional cost, simply because I no longer feel confident in the support being provided. Looking back, I regret choosing this clinic. I placed trust in the qualifications, presentation, and promises made during consultation. Unfortunately, when things did not go to plan, I did not feel that same commitment was shown to me in return. Based on my personal experience, I cannot recommend this clinic. My advice to anyone considering treatment is this: do not only look at before-and-after photographs, qualifications, or social media content. Ask yourself what will happen if you are the client who has concerns afterwards. How you are treated at that point tells you far more about a practitioner than any marketing ever will.
