My daughter was very nervous about getting her hair cut, but Abby made her feel completely safe from the moment we walked in. She talked to her throughout the whole appointment, kept her calm, and was so gentle and reassuring. We’ll definitely be going back — my daughter absolutely loves her new hair. I had my haircut in the evening, which was ideal because it meant I could get my children sorted for bedtime before leaving. Not many salons stay open late every day, so this was a huge help. Abby was friendly, lovely, and made the whole experience easy and relaxed. I would 100% go back next time.

I had such a lovely experience and couldn't recommend Abby enough! She did an Olaplex treatment and a full head colour for me and my mum, and we were both so pleased with the results. From the moment we arrived, she was incredibly welcoming, friendly and considerate, making us both feel comfortable and well looked after. Her experience and professionalism really stood out, and she took the time to explain everything and ensure we were happy throughout the appointment. The results were fantastic and our hair looked and felt amazing. The Olaplex treatment left it feeling so healthy and refreshed. It was clear she genuinely cares about her clients and takes pride in her work. Thank you for such a wonderful experience. We'll definitely be back!

Abby was absolutely incredible! Most salons wouldn’t accept my booking because I wanted to use my own ammonia-free dye, but she was so accommodating. It’s been such a long time since I’ve had a stylist do a proper, voluminous blow dry, and I truly can’t thank her enough. I live in London and was only briefly in Birmingham, so I really appreciated her squeezing me in. I highly recommend her, absolutely outstanding!

Really great with hair cuts, lovely salon and lovely lady. I enjoyed the privacy. However, I got my dark virgin hair highlighted hoping for ashy blonde - which I’ve had in the past multiple times without any issues. I was very disappointed that it turned out more on the orange / brassy side and has got significantly worse very quickly even whilst using purple shampoo. I wanted to leave a balanced, fair and honest review for anyone else with dark Asian hair who was considering going for ashy blonde - as I know honest reviews help me make decisions (especially expensive ones like hair dye)! I’ve had really amazing results with Stunnerz previously and have seen great results from Go Bananas on Stratford road. So I’d probably stick to them for hair colouring in future. I’ve been quoted £200 to correct the orange properly to get an ashy tone or £80 to tone it dark again. So it was probably better I paid a bit more and went to a different salon to start with. But otherwise, Abby is great with hair cuts. Very efficient and a kind woman.

I had such a great experience at Cuts by Abby! Abby is a brilliant hairdresser who clearly knows exactly what she’s doing. She’s very accommodating and takes the time to understand what you want, making sure you feel completely comfortable throughout the whole appointment. She’s also incredibly kind and friendly, which makes the experience even better. You instantly feel at ease in her chair, and the results speak for themselves. I’m so happy with my hair and would definitely recommend Abby’s services to anyone looking for a talented and welcoming hairdresser!
