The lash tech Mia was a really lovely girl and although she's still training, she's very good and I'm happy with my lashes. Mia also performed the service in a professional and timely manner despite a previous customer being a bit unreasonable with Mia. I arrived 5 mins early for my appointment but couldn't get access to the building. I went to the correct Fire Hut entrance but they wouldn't let me in, I text the contact number and I was let in but I was let in (and out) via the Leegate House doors which I've since been told is the wrong access point but it's not made clear which is the correct access point. So if you go, try the Fire Hut door which is to the far left of the Leegate House doors if you're facing the building. They had a bit of a situation on the day of my appointment which meant my service was started 30 mins late. I would have preferred to be contacted before my appointment time to ask if I can come half an hour later but on the day they did not have a receptionist/front of house person so communication and customer service was a bit wonky. A lovely lady from the education side of the business eventually stepped in, gave me some customer service and covered me with a blanket as I was cold while having my lashes done.

I purchased classic individual lashes through groupon. The lashes were mostly done by a seemingly inexperienced apprentice. During application too much pressure was applied to the lashes and eye which seems to have created a clumpy look with some lashes going in odd directions and they were very long towards the inner part of my eye, to the point i had to trim the end to make it look a bit better. I also suspect that cluster lashes were used since some of them are falling out after 1 week and they are in clusters of 5 lashes. You get what you pay for with groupon. But the business should have been transparant about using groupon to train their apprentice.
