HEALTH AND SAFETY HAZARD! I visited the salon today for the first time and, although the receptionist was friendly, the salon and the service left me very disappointed. The salon is overall very dirty. Equipment is not well maintained, there is dust everywhere, and tools do not appear to be properly sterilised. I visited in the morning when the salon was empty, so this cannot be explained by it being busy. I was taken to a small, very hot room. The towels smelled unpleasant, and the condition of the tools was concerning. I was particularly alarmed to see the attendant repeatedly dipping the same wooden stick back into the wax pot during the treatment. This practice can spread skin infections, especially as the wax container is not heated to a level that would properly sanitise it and is unlikely to be cleaned between clients. Bacteria such as streptococcus and staphylococcus can survive in these conditions, and there is also a risk of transmitting infections like herpes or genital warts. Additionally, despite asking several times for proper technique to be used, the treatment was not carried out carefully. As a result, I experienced bruising and some skin damage, likely due to the wax being too hot and applied multiple times to the same area. This was a very poor experience. If any skin issues develop following this visit, I will have to take further action, as this situation represents a serious health and safety concern.

I got my nails done here today by Bahar, and it was a great experience. She was so kind, she was on time, she was efficient, she really paid attention to making sure the nails looked good. It was also really affordable, other places were asking for like £20-£50 more. The real important part though was when I wasn’t happy with the design on a couple of the nails, and I find it really anxiety inducing to speak up and say something in that situation, but I did, and Bahar was so nice about it. She spent probably an extra half an hour, making sure that I was happy with the style and the design, she could tell when I wanted more and I just didn’t feel up to saying it, and she stuck with me until it was right, and I think they’re beautiful. She was so kind about it. She didn’t make me feel any type of way about it, I really trust her and would definitely go back! Thank you so much!

Had an amazing experience at this salon for my wedding nails. Bahar was so lovely and professional, asked me what look I wanted and recreated the natural classy french tip design I wanted perfectly.
