I can't recommend enough, especially for women.. I'm in my 30s and female.. I had a bad SMP experience 7 years ago to add density and it started going blue soon after. I've spent the last 6 years using hair fibres and hair shadow powder to cover it but it got to the point where my hair was thinning and my hairline receding. The blue patches on my scalp were so obvious. I was soo embarrassed to show anyone. I contacted a couple SMP artists in the area and they're reaction to my blue scalp made me feel awful and worse about myself. A few weeks later I heard about Hair Savvy Studio.. after minutes of chatting with Alex, he put me at ease, was understanding (without any judgment!) and guided me through the process of having laser tattoo removal first to remove the old SMP and I've just had my 2nd SMP and I am soo happy! He has given me my confidence back!! As an NHS worker i know how important communication and professionalism is and I can honestly say Alex provides it all.. I would recommend for anyone suffering with thinning hair or previous bad SMP :)

I was pretty hesitant about getting SMP done at first and spent a lot of time looking around before committing. I ended up contacting Alex, and straight away he put a lot of effort into answering my questions. We had a fair bit of back and forth, which really reassured me I was making the right choice. When you arrive, at the property there’s a separate entrance for the studio. The studio itself is very clean and professional, exactly what you’d want for something like this. In the first session, we spent a good amount of time talking through what I wanted and what would realistically give me the best results, which I appreciated. The aftercare has been good too, he’s always available if you’ve got any questions, not a case of taking the money and not having no duty of care afterwards, customer service is 10/10 Most importantly, the SMP itself is spot on, really natural and exactly what I was hoping for from the start, cannot fault it Before and after 3 sessions!

I was recommended Hair Savvy Studio by my brother after he had SMP done, and I’m so glad I followed his advice. From the start, Alex was incredibly helpful—he explained the entire process clearly and made sure I was comfortable with everything, including the pricing. Leona and Alex have completely transformed my look. The level of detail and care they put into their work is outstanding. After my third session, I’ve received so many compliments on how natural it looks—people genuinely can’t tell it’s SMP. I couldn’t be happier with the results and the whole experience. I have just finished my 3rd and final session, of being a full start to finish Model for Alex at Hair Savvy, and I couldn’t recommend him enough, he was easy to talk to, made me feel at ease, and listened to Grant the whole time while doing an amazing job. I had my scalp micropigmentation done on Saturday at Hair Savvy Studios and the whole experience with Alex was excellent from start to finish. We spent around 45 minutes discussing exactly what I wanted in terms of hairline shape and colour depth, which immediately put me at ease. I decided to go for a more defined, slightly curved hairline, similar to a fresh barbershop finish, but without it being too sharp or artificial. During the top-up session and hairline restructure, Alex was happy to make adjustments as we went along, including increasing the colour slightly. He listened carefully to what I wanted, respected my preferences, and also offered honest, expert advice based on his experience. The full session took about 5.5 hours including the initial consultation, and the end result exceeded my expectations. When I got home, my family commented on how natural it looked and even said it made me look younger. Interestingly, I had no comments at all from work colleagues, which to me says everything about how subtle and natural the result is. I’m extremely happy with the outcome and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Alex to anyone considering SMP.
