I only leave a review when an experience has genuinely affected me, and I wouldn’t want anyone else to go through the same thing. I feel it’s important to share what happened so others can be fully aware before booking. I was a loyal, returning client who genuinely supported this business. I even brought a friend to her clinic and was always understanding when she needed to rearrange appointments due to childcare. As a mother myself, I get it. But when my own two-year-old son was suddenly hospitalised and I had to reschedule my appointment, I was met with no empathy or flexibility at all. I wasn’t cancelling, just asking to move the appointment to a later date. Instead, she refused, kept my deposit, and then tried to charge my card again after saying she wouldn’t, baring in mind without any notice or authorisation. What makes this worse is that the treatment I booked was one she herself recommended to help improve bruising from my last session. I trusted her advice, booked again in good faith, and still had my deposit taken when I couldn’t attend because of my son’s serious medical emergency. Businesses in the beauty and aesthetics industry are supposed to act fairly and reasonably when genuine emergencies happen. Most reputable professionals show understanding in situations beyond a client’s control. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case here. I’ve reported the incident to Trading Standards and my bank, as her actions breach basic consumer fairness and payment rules. On top of that, the friend I referred to her for a skin booster treatment was left with visible spider vein damage on her cheek, which is now being treated by a Harley Street clinician. My own under-eye bruising also didn’t heal as promised. This same friend also had Botox done by her, which caused her eyelids to droop. When she reached out for help and advice, instead of taking responsibility or offering to correct it professionally, the response she got was that she’d have to pay for another appointment to fix it. That kind of attitude toward clients who experience side effects is completely unacceptable and shows a serious lack of care and accountability. It’s genuinely disappointing to see how someone I once came to in good faith has shown such little compassion or accountability. When a business prioritises money over people, it says everything. Please think carefully before booking here. Protect your money and your wellbeing, and choose an aesthetician who values professionalism, safety, and basic human decency.
