I went in for a facial treatment and was not given the option to choose the type of facial beforehand as the add detailed. I later developed peeling and skin discolouration that is still present. When I raised my concerns, they were dismissed rather than addressed, and my skin was blamed instead of the treatment. My GP has since confirmed it was a treatment reaction consistent with a slight burn. I would have appreciated acknowledgment of my concerns and aftercare guidance support, but unfortunately none was offered. Sharing this so others can make an informed choice.
