I'd like to start by saying I did not want to publicly post a review. While I am ultimately satisfied with the result of my hair cut and color, I had a negative experience at the salon and I wanted to speak to someone about it personally to provide feedback instead of doing this. I tried calling the salon multiple times, reached out to a managers email I was given, and left my phone number for a call back but nobody seems to care enough to want to actually speak with me about what happened. I would have rated my experience 3 stars but the salons lack of communication after my multiple attempts to contact them has dropped it down. My experience started with me waiting 30 minutes past my appointment time and when the stylist was finally ready to start with me, I was not given an apology nor was the lateness even acknowledged. After discussing the balayage and cut I wanted, someone came over with a waiver for me to sign. Now, I am American. I have been getting balayages done several times a year for over a decade, I am no stranger to the process, but this was the first time I've ever been asked to sign a waiver so I guess it's a British thing (this was my first balayage in the UK). Totally fine, but I was confused at first what the waiver was for and when I asked, I received a very snarky reply from the woman holding the clipboard who just said "um, for the color??" Maybe it was obvious to her, but it wasn't to me, and the tone was just rude and unnecessary. A little bit later, I am approached again in the chair by another woman who plops a sign in front of me which talks about the payment upfront policy. I wouldn't have had any issues with that policy but coming up to me like that when I was in the chair already getting started telling me they need to run my card immediately made me feel singled out. Like something about my behavior made them think they needed to get payment from me right away. When I checked in I went to the reception desk. I don't know why I wasn't told at that point about the policy and asked for permission to charge my card then but rather wait 45 minutes after I arrived and my hair was already being worked on. Just again, didn't make me feel good. Finally, the worst part about my salon visit was the pain I experienced at the shampoo bowl. As I stated above, I've been getting balayages done for well over a decade, multiple times a year. I've been in the position of having someone brush out the teasing dozens of times. Never in my life, until now, have I literally cried from the pain of having my hair brushed. I don't know if it was the brushes, or if they just genuinely did not know how to painlessly brush out knots but I had to ask for a break because the pain was so bad and it wasn't until someone came over with tissues for me that I realized I was crying. It was humiliating. I am a grown woman being made to cry from pain and not even after that did they try a different technique or change anything about what they were doing other than apologize. I appreciated the free blow out at the end as an added apology for the experience. I guess it's a British thing as well but in the US, the blow out is part of the hair cut and not an added cost so frankly I wasn't aware that I wouldn't be getting a blow out otherwise and therefore it wasn't that much of a bonus for me. I really hoped to speak with management about this in a more private manner but I can only attempt to reach out so many times. I just hope this feedback is taken seriously for future clients but I will not be returning.

When I say I have never had a blow dry as amazing as the one I had here, I truly mean it! Bircan gave me the best haircut I have ever had in my life. I have tried countless hairdressers over the years and honestly got tired of searching, until I received an amazing recommendation from my friend, who had her haircut and blow dry done by Bircan. I was hesitant at first after so many disappointing experiences, but I am so glad I gave it a chance. I know this might not be appropriate, but I have fallen in love with Bircan lol! She is absolutely amazing, as is her colleague Merve, who assisted with the blow dry. Both of them are fantastic!!!!!!

A wonderful massage experience! Ivana was welcoming and very thoughtful & took her time to personalise my treatment according to my needs. The eye mask was a very welcome addition too! The bamboo massage was fabulous, it really got deep into knots and areas of tension. Ivana then did an amazing head massage that left me feeling so relaxed and revitalised. A great massage if you feel you need to have tension ironed out of you! Ivana is a fantastic therapist. Thank you!

I had a pedicure here with my mum and we both had such a lovely experience. I was really happy with my pedicure and felt comfortable the whole time and all staff made us feel welcomed. The nail technician was very polite and asked us what our main areas of concern were, and she did a great job carefully cleaning my cuticles, exfoliated our feet, and did a lovely polish. She also gave us a foot massage at the end which made the treatment even more relaxing. The area was very clean, tidy, and hygienic, which made us feel at ease. I would definitely recommend and will happily be coming back again! 😊
