Absolutely one of the worst waxing experiences I’ve ever had. Before I even booked the appointment, I informed the salon over the phone that I have very sensitive skin and specifically requested strip wax because it works best for me. I also explained that repeatedly waxing the same area would peel my skin. Unfortunately, the therapist did exactly that. I don’t remember the therapist’s name, but she was a Pakistani lady, which may help the salon identify who carried out my treatment. I booked a back wax, and she kept going over the same areas multiple times. By the time I got home and had a shower, I couldn’t even let the water run over my back because the skin had literally been peeled off. My back, chest and stomach were covered in bright red patches and felt like they had been burned. I had to apply barrier cream just to calm the skin down because it was so painful. The Hollywood wax was equally disappointing. The therapist clearly wasn’t confident using strip wax for intimate areas. Halfway through, she kept suggesting we leave it as a Brazilian because she couldn’t remove all the hair. I was forced to leave with hair that should have been removed, and the wax wasn’t even cleaned up properly. When I asked her to wax the buttock area, which is part of a Hollywood wax, she simply said it was too difficult and refused to do it. I’ve had Hollywood waxes many times before, so I know this is not normal. To make matters worse, I told the therapist that I have a fragrance allergy and refused any fragranced oils. She insisted that waxing couldn’t be done without them and even made me sign a disclaimer stating that I refused the oil. Whether I chose fragranced oil or not had nothing to do with the poor waxing technique that resulted in my skin being damaged. I paid £75 and left with incomplete treatments, painful skin injuries, and a very upsetting experience. I wouldn’t recommend this salon to anyone, especially if you have sensitive skin or are expecting a professional intimate waxing service. It was a complete waste of both my time and money. I certainly won’t be returning.

Very professional and lovely staff. Got my first hollywood wax and Leah made me feel very comfortable. She's a bright and bubbly character. Also had my underarms done. Will definitely be back and highly recommend

My wife and I went to UBB as a treat for her birthday. We booked a body scrub + massage along with manicure cocktail package. It was a Tuesday so very quiet and we enjoyed the treatments l. Ivana and shaheen were really welcoming and warm. There was absolutely no rush in any of the treatments and it was slow steady and relaxing treatments just as you would like. The only thing was because the place was under renovation, we couldn't get the treatments together. They were upfront about this. Highly recommend (especially on weekdays where it won't be busy)

Have been a customer of this place for many years. If there is a better set of therapists for a great massage I have not come across them. All of them are fantastic, really professional and helpful. Great massage every time and at a great price too. I would definitely recommend the Urban Body Bar.

I had a full body Swedish massage at The Urban Body Bar with Ivonna, and it was an excellent experience from start to finish. Ivonna was very professional, attentive, and clearly skilled. The pressure was just right, and the massage was both deeply relaxing and therapeutic. She took the time to understand what I needed and worked carefully on tense areas without rushing. I left feeling relaxed, refreshed, and much lighter physically. The overall atmosphere was calm and welcoming, and the session felt well-paced and unhurried. I will definitely be returning.
