I love this place been going for years. Massage and facials are amazing and the beauty technician is kind, and knowledgeable. Call to book!

I am still in shock of how bad the treatment was. I guess it’s my fault choosing a place with dermabraison much cheaper than anyone on the market. I had it done at two different places before and had no problem. They usually go one time through my skin and it just makes the skin smooth. She went up to 10 times, including under the eyes even though I told her to avoid this sensitive area. She claimed it was a great machine better than the others using crystal hence it could not damage the skin. How can someone lack so much professionalism? 3 days after and my skin was still red and starting to peel. I think it got burnt superficially. Thankfully there was an organic shop near where I could buy fresh aloe vera as any hydrating cream she tried burnt me painfully, and even that hurt slightly. My face was burning and painful all evening. It’s dangerous to have customers without no professional training.

Great place for facials. Palmira is incredibly knowledgeable about skin and skincare. I first came here in 2018 and it’s been 5 years- I have just kept coming back and not looked elsewhere. The place is clean and comfortable. Therapists have always done their best to make their clients feel comfortable. I hope new clients reading reviews will study the reviews from many of their regular, old clients. Waterlily has always been consistent and amazing, and of course, there could be an odd time or two whereby customers complain, but I truly believe given the good nature and down to earth personalities of Palmira and Charissa, they will endeavour to make it right.

I asked the nail technician to try and save my thin nails. I know it may not have even been possible, but not attempt was made. She refused, and started berating me for how I treat my nails. During the first five minutes she also yelled at the receptionist upstairs. If I had not already prepaid, I would have left. She filed them down even further, then sanded them down some more. She was so rough on one side she has damaged my skin. There were hardly any gel colours available. When I requested a colour, she said I could not pick that one, as it would not last on my nails, and gave me an option of two glitter colours I did not like, insisting I had to pick one of them. It took very firmly standing my ground that it was Christmas and I came in to get red nails before she begrudgingly agreed. I paid for a manicure and gel nails, but all I got were rushed gel nails. There was no cuticle care, no hang nail removal, no moisturising. The polish is ragged at the edges, very uneven, and even in some spots, a day later is lifting up, as she painted over the skin where it is now coming up. I treat myself to nails twice a year for Christmas, and I'm just really upset about how little respect was given to my wishes and how short my nails now are for Christmas.

Charissa is a friendly and thoughtful therapist. She listens to my concerns and tailors the facial to my needs. Ive been seeing Charissa since 2014 and my skin has improved so much. Her attention to detail is impeccable, her knowledge is in-depth and she is never pushy when it comes to selling products. She is the best Aesthetician I have had and I look forward to my appointments with her.
